Library Rules

1. Each student is issued a student ID card / Library card. Loss of card must be reported to the School's General Office for replacement. A charge will be required for obtaining a replacement.
   
   

2. No student is allowed to lend the Library card to others or borrow it from others.
   
   

3. Each library card can be used to borrow 6 library books, three in English and three in Chinese.
   
   

4. Students are required to borrow books in the School Library in person.
   
   

5. On leaving the Library, all books must be inspected by the Library Prefects.
   
   

6. Students are allowed to borrow a book for TWO weeks. It may be extended for two more weeks when the book is not on reserve.
   
   

7. A student who fails to return books on or before the due date is required to report to the School Librarian in person.
   
   

8. Students should take care of the books borrowed. In case of damage or loss, the borrower bears the responsibility.
   
   

9. No one is allowed to bring her school bag into the Library.
   
   

10. Students should keep quiet in the Library.
    
    

11. No eating or drinking is allowed in the Library.
    
    

12. Copyright laws should be strictly observed by all users making photocopies. All users should be fully responsible for any legal consequences concerning copyright that may arise.
    
    

13. Breach of any Library Regulations may result in deduction of conduct grade.
